This solar post light is a beautiful bright addition to my patio. I love the oversized square design and how they add such a perfect glow at night��much more light than my previous ones. It gives my column a more finished, elegant look without needing wiring and I will buy others. 5/5 stars
This Large Ultra Modern Solar Powered LED Pedestal Light with Remote Control is absolutely amazing! Wow! This is so much bigger and better than I was expecting. I can definitely put this in the commercial grade solar lighting category. High quality craftsmanship made from lightweight but strong waterproof aluminum and plastic materials. This looks and feels very well made holding it in my hands! I really love the design and performance of this light. It has a metallic powdered finish that is excellent for handling harsh weather like snow and ice, and it looks really cool too! This awesome LED lamp emits a warm bright light that’s easy on the eyes and lights up a fairly large area well. The four sided design projects the warm light in all directions around the lamp. I love solar powered lights like this because all I have to do is place them in the sun and let the sun produce the energy. No difficult wires to run and no added cost on my electric bill! This LED pedestal lamp has a built in dusk to dawn sensor that automatically turns the light on at night and then turns the light off to recharge when sunlight is detected. My favorite feature of this cool light is the large solar panel that covers the entire top of the lamp. The large solar panel ensures the batteries get a good charge even under cloudy conditions. It has excellent battery life because it stays lit through the whole night! The fixture has four mounting holes on the bottom for permanent installation but honestly, I really like being able to move it around. The included remote control makes this awesome pedestal light very easy to use. Using the remote control you can adjust the brightness, set timers, and turn the light on or off. This is perfect for gate entrances, large outdoor tables, remote area lighting, landscape lighting, and so much more in my opinion. It came with the LED light, remote control, concrete anchors, and very nice instructions. I‘m extremely happy and pleased with this amazing commercial grade solar powered LED pedestal lamp. A very good value for the money at this price and worth every penny! This is a product I would highly recommend to friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, or anybody else. Definitely a FIVE STAR product is my honest personal opinion. I would give this item ten stars if I could!
I purchased this solar post light for one of my outdoor projects, and after receiving it, I was immediately impressed by the quality. It feels much more premium than many solar lights I've installed in the past. The first thing that stood out was the construction. The aluminum housing feels solid and well-built, not thin or flimsy. Everything fits together nicely, and it gives the impression that it was designed for long-term outdoor use. The design is modern and elegant. It has a clean, minimalist appearance that really enhances the look of a driveway entrance, fence column, or patio pillar during both the day and at night. Installation was simple, and all the required hardware was included. Once mounted, it felt very secure and stable. The light output is warm and evenly distributed, creating a welcoming atmosphere instead of producing a harsh glare. It provides plenty of illumination for decorative and pathway lighting while maintaining a high-end appearance. I also like that it's completely solar powered. It charges during the day and automatically turns on at dusk, so there's no wiring or maintenance to worry about. The replaceable battery is another nice feature that should help extend its lifespan. This sturdy square-shaped light is surprisingly versatile. I can set it on the front porch and it lights the way for our guests and warns away any mischief-makers. It brightens our home and makes our lives just a little bit better. Its included remote control is an infrared unit that's inexplicably weak, only effective within six feet, and doesn't offer continuous dimming. Yet it is still useful, offering four separate levels of brightness spreading out on all four sides. At the remote's highest setting, it sets an impressive illumination that seriously lights up a large area. Its most useful feature is its ability to set the unit to turn on at the same time every night and stay lit for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. At the moment, I have it temporarily situated on a small box on the ground at the end of our driveway. In my testing, this has proven to be an excellent spot to show off its simple beauty and add a bit of light in one of the darker places near our home. I plan to use a permanent platform as its final installation at this location. This is my second light of this type, and the first one has been dependable and eminently useful. This one is slightly larger, and so far it seems to be of the same quality and dependability as its brandmate. I am impressed, and although it's not perfect, it gets the job done, and I recommend it.
This looks almost identical to the light it's replacing, so much so that a couple of neighbors saw it lit up and asked how I managed to fix the old one. Had to explain it wasn't a repair, it was a full swap. The old light had an LED board built into it, and once that thing started failing there was no getting to it and no replacing it, so the whole fixture was junk. This one uses a regular LED bulb, so when it eventually goes I can just twist in a new one instead of throwing away the entire light again. Since it runs on solar, I didn't have to run any power out to the mailbox at all, which sits on a stone post with a concrete cap just like the one in the picture, and installation was as simple as setting the light on top and locking it down. It looks classy sitting out there, especially once it gets dark and it switches on by itself. Between the easier bulb swap and not touching any wiring, this already feels like the smarter version of what I had before. Well worth it.
I really like this solar post light. The 12-inch size is pretty substantial and gives it a much nicer presence than the smaller solar lights I've used before. The black/gray finish and simple square design look modern without being too plain. The warm white light is bright enough to actually add useful lighting while still looking nice at night. I especially like that it automatically comes on at dusk, but it also includes a remote so you can adjust the brightness or set a timer if you don't want it running all night. Being solar powered is a huge plus since there is no wiring to deal with, and the replaceable bulb and battery are nice features since the whole light doesn't become useless if one eventually needs replacing. It feels very substantial and looks much more expensive than a typical solar light. Definitely a great option for driveway or entrance pillars.
I got this for the pillars in my front yard, and it looks amazing. The large square shape is substantial enough that it does not look undersized or cheap sitting on top of the pillars. It gives the entrance a much more modern, finished appearance during the day, and the warm glow looks beautiful at night. It is not extremely bright, so I would not depend on it for security lighting or to illuminate an entire driveway. However, it provides exactly the right amount of light to highlight the pillars and create a welcoming effect without being harsh or obnoxiously bright. For my purpose, the appearance matters more than maximum brightness, and this is perfect. I am extremely happy with how it looks in the front yard.
For post lights or pillar lights, solar is definitely the way to go for several reasons. The electrical expense of running a dedicated line out to a post or several posts or pillars where you have lights for people who are entering your driveway can be exorbitant. For a new circuit breaker interior switch to control the power and an underground line ran out to the start of your driveway for 500 feet away from your house, and the drawing that‘s necessary and the use of PVC EMT to bring the wires up to the top of the pillar, you’re talking somewhere between $750 on the low side and $1250 on the high side. For an electrical contractor to do this for you. So, start off saving money right away. It saves that contractor bill immediately. In most cases, you can do the install yourself, whether it��s on a wooden pole or a pillar. This fixture is sent with 12 x 12 white, and its height is about 6 inches. It has one E26 socket, delivers 3000�� Kelvin light, and provides 350 lumens. If it gets four hours of direct sunlight, the replaceable 4400 mA lithium-ion battery provides up to 10 to 12 hours of light. It also has automatic built-in dusk-to-dawn control. It comes with a remote control, and you can turn it on and off with the remote. You can set a timer for two hours, four hours, six hours, or eight hours, and you can control the brightness of the light if you wish to save electricity and make it last longer through the night. You can control it in the comfort of your home without going anywhere near the light itself.
