My photo really doesnt do this solar light its justice! I really love this piece. It adds a bit of modern charm to our front stoop. Alot of the photos show this light standing on top of a cement post. We dont have a cement post in our yard but I do have a rocky little area next to our porch stairs that it fits in just right! It eliminates light upon the stairs even when the porch light isnt on. It serves great purpose!
The light charges during the day by the sun using the solar panel. The light then stays lit all throughout the night. Its a great size. Much better than having our old single solar light that only really served as decor. It didn't give off much light at all. This new light looks pretty but also makes the bottom step of our porch more visible, much safer in my opinion.
I think this solar light is 100% worth the pricepoint. Its sleek, modern, emits a lot of light and overall does a great job at what its meant for....all while being stylish.

Wow! This Ultra Modern Solar Powered LED Pedestal Lamp with Remote Control is amazing! This one is a high end industrial grade commercial light no doubt! High quality precision craftsmanship made of thick durable waterproof metal and plastic materials. This feels heavy and very well made holding it in my hands! It’s a beast of a light! Everything about this super modern light is professional including the powdered flaked finish that’s designed for harsh weather conditions. It has a strip of warm LED lights on all four sides that projects the warm LED light downward and outwards all around it. I think this would look great on large outdoor tables as well as columns and pillar tops! I’m absolutely addicted to solar powered lights like this because all I have to do is place them in the sun and let the sun provide the energy. No difficult wires to install and no extra cost on my electricity bill! My favorite feature of this beautiful LED lamp is the very large solar panel that covers almost the entire top of the lamp. The large solar panel ensures the batteries get a good charge even under cloudy skies! It has a built in dusk to dawn sensor that automatically turns the lamp on at night and then turns it off when the sun comes up to recharge. The remote control they include is a great feature that allows you to adjust the brightness, set timers, and turn the lamp off for transporting or storing it. The battery life is excellent because it stays lit through the whole night at full brightness! It came complete with concrete anchors and instructions. I’m very satisfied and extremely happy with this commercial grade solar powered LED pedestal lamp. A very good value for the money at this price! This is a product I would recommend to friends and family. Definitely a five star product is my honest personal opinion. I would give this item ten stars if I could.
This light is heavier and sturdier than the otherRIRZ solar lights I own. It feels very substantial, and I have no doubt it will hold up well against the elements (wind/rain/sun/snow).
The design is also a little different from most solar lights. You don't really see the illuminated panels themselves because the light shines downward from underneath the frame. The result is more of a soft, ambient glow rather than an exposed bright light source.
I'm still figuring out the best permanent location for it, so right now I have it lighting the base of a tree in my yard, but I think its design is probably better suited to a post, porch, or pillar. Because of the weight and size, I think it would be best suited to a stone or masonry pillar where it can be mounted securely. This is a very sturdy, high-quality solar light with a unique look and a softer type of illumination.
I have a RIRZ solar pillar light similar to this, and it has been in operation for over a year now.
This 12" solar pillar light has a lot going for it. It's fully solar powered, so no electrical connection is needed. The large solar collection panel integrated into the top fuels a large capacity battery, offering 12+ hours of illumination. Even on mostly cloudy days, I've seen this last all night until sunup.
What sets this apart is the stainless steel body and recessed lights that still put out 450 lumens of 2800K warm white light. The typical design of these is a light bulb based approach where the light is behind a glass or plastic shade, but this one is a completely different style. I would call it elegant and upscale.
Installation is easy if you have a suitable location already. I mounted mine to a non-warping hardwood with my own bolts, and used a 4x4 mailbox style post to mount it versus a concrete column.
Overall, this is a nice light that performs well and is built to high standards.
I got this solar light for a pillar in my front yard, and it is the perfect size and style for that space. The 12-inch square design looks substantial and properly proportioned instead of resembling a small pathway light placed on top of a large column. The modern shape also gives the front yard a more finished appearance.
The 2800K light produces a soft, warm glow that looks welcoming rather than harsh or overly bright. This is best for decorative accent lighting and visibility around an entrance—not for lighting the entire yard like a security floodlight.
I also appreciate the convenience of the solar, dusk-to-dawn design. There is no wiring to run, and the light turns on automatically when it gets dark. It looks great on the pillar and creates exactly the effect I wanted.

There is no need to run electrical service out to every column or post, which can be a significant advantage when lighting a driveway, garden, or property boundary. With the 5200mAh battery and up to 12 hours of illumination, the fixture is designed to handle the night from a good day of charging.
The 2800K warm white light is also a good choice. At 450 lumens, it provides useful illumination while retaining the comfortable character I want from landscape lighting.
What really distinguishes this fixture, though, is the pattern of light it throws. The stainless steel structure and glass interact with the illumination to create something visually interesting around the fixture rather than simply producing a pool of light.
The light pattern is as interesting as the design itself, and having all of that without running electrical wiring makes the solar capability a real convenience.
