This outdoor post light has a very bold, contemporary design that immediately stands out. In fact, I think it looks even better in person than it does in the product photos.
The clean lines and sparkling gray finish give it a modern architectural appearance without being overly flashy. It has a substantial feel and would complement a wide range of home styles, especially contemporary and transitional designs.
The 3000K LED bulb produces a warm, inviting light, and the 360 degree illumination provides even coverage around walkways, patios, driveways, and garden areas. It creates a pleasant nighttime atmosphere while providing practical lighting where it is needed.
The construction also impressed me. The combination of stainless steel, glass, and the die cast aluminum base gives the fixture a solid, quality feel that appears ready for years of outdoor service.
I also like the flexibility of being able to mount it either on a standard post or on a flat surface using the included pier mount base.
This is a wonderful outdoor post light. It can be mounted on a post if you wish, or on any kind of platform. It comes with a built-in platform mount attached. The platform can be mounted on a pillar if you wish. If you have pillars at the front of your driveway, that would be a very appropriate place to put this light. If you have posts in the area of your deck outdoors, you could also use The Post to attach this light to the post and mount it on The Post, which could be near a deck or a garden where you need additional light on a pathway.
The light uses an E26 lightbulb that is supplied with a 5 W lightbulb, which provides 450 lm of light at 3000 Kelvin, which is very warm light for an outdoor pathway or driveway. You recall that 9 W of LED light is the equivalent of an old-style 100 W incandescent lightbulb; therefore, 5 W is about the amount of light you get from a 50 W incandescent lightbulb.
