This is a good looking, well made tower light that reminds me a lot of the path lighting that you might find at a nice resort. Excellent quality and it wouldn't look out of place anywhere really. Its a bit more of a cool white light than advertised but looks good in the snow for sure. To figure out where it works best you can just wire it up to an old extension cord until you find a good spot. The wires run out the bottom of the tower about 6-8 inches, so just keep that in mind when figuring out your wiring circuit. Positioning it right off the path in the landscaping I would think is optimal, so if you have a 120v line running along your sidewalk for outlets, or a line to other lighting you can hook it right in.
You will want it drilled into a base of some kind though if you don't want it falling over. It has a small footprint, with the base just a bit larger than the tower. You can unscrew the bottom to use it as a template for the holes, then just reattach it to the light before screwing it into place. Its not heavy. As you can see in the pics the light is pretty bright and has good coverage for using just two louvered sides, and if you look at the shadows you can see there's almost no shadow at all the closer to the light you get. Very nice light all around, and really helps beautify the outside of your home.
Very nice and high quality outdoor light. This is a high voltage and hard wired light so it does require a licensed electrician to properly run underground wiring and install.
I used this one at the top of my steps by my driveway because where I live is very dark at night with very limited street lighting and it‘s been working beautifully with a nice soft lighting that is bright enough without being offensive to the eyes.

SOLID VALUE: Yes, pricey but based on build quality this is a great outdoor light. The light output is bright enough to clearly mark walkways without blinding glare. Once installed, they feel sturdy and well suited for outdoor use.
Installation is more involved since they‘re hardwired, but the result looks polished and permanent. They’ve held up well in weather so far. Overall, a great choice if you want fixed, modern landscape lighting. A+
This is heavy enough to stay put even without being cemented in as the instructions offer up
The wires are underneath so you need to make sure you have wiring that can work immediately on the ground or coming up from the ground. Alternatively, you could buy a wire kit, connect the wires then plug it in anywhere you like
It is so sturdy on it's own, even in thunderstorm winds (have not and will not test it in tropical storm winds)
So elegant and holds up very well aesthetically to my harsh well water irrigation system
The thing I like about this light is the built in wire junction box. This made for a quicker installation. It can be ordered in two different sizes. Fixture runs off both AC voltages. This landscape light is a hardwired fixture. The light fixture feels strong and is made from aluminum, stainless steel and glass. Strong light fixture that works great.

I love the look of this light, it's sleek and modern, simple. One thing to note, the black finish on the light has sparkles in it, so it is not flat black. I don't mind the sparkles, it looks fine.
Another thing I don't super love is the plastic white part where the light shines through rattles around in the frame. If the wind blows against the light just right, the plastic rattles pretty loudly. I will secure it with some glue to keep it from rattling. Otherwise, it's a good light.
