I plan to use this to replace a horribly, yellowed outdated fixture on a new screen room porch. We have moved into a new older home and I have so many light fixtures to update and Amazon offers such a variety to choose from - makes it easy, so FUN! This will go over the patio doors out to the room to throw off plenty of light and it is in a covered area which will not get any sunshine so I'm relieved I won't worry about the panels which are plastic, yellowing from UV rays. The matte black finish is stylish and contemporary but I am a little concerned about the number of holes needing drilled to install. this 25.6�� light. Doesn't seem it will be an easy DIY project but we have built a 2-story addition so probably can get it done. That and we have a concrete house with concrete roof and overhangs so drilling is going to be labor intensive. Have to decide if it seems worth it. It is not inexpensive so I would have been more impressed if the panels were glass and not polycarbonate. Might need to rethink mounting it there.

I needed an update for my back porch and I'm in love with this fixture. It's long! It is very pleasing to the eye, though. I want more to line the back of my house/patio. It is fairly easy to install. It has a back plate that takes four screws. They include excellent concrete ones, but I had to use my own for our sheetrock. After that, you just place the fixture on the plate and screw in four side screws. They are a bit tricky because they are small and located against the wall. The wiring is well insulated and the whole thing feels solid as a rock, once installed. Because of the size and the LED light, this is worth every penny. I was concerned it might be too bright, but I think it's perfect. It is a very flattering brightness and temperature of light. I only wish it would have come with wire caps. Maybe even an extra tiny screw because ours kept falling when trying to get them in against the wall. It would have sucked to get lost in a bush or grass. I would highly recommend a magnetic screwdriver for that part of installation :)

We really like this beautiful new wall sconce. It is very modern looking too. It is 26 inches long and puts out a good amount of light. The install was fairly easy as well. This light is a hardwire connection, not plug in. The hardwire set up gives it a much better appearance since there is no cord running to it. The light is weather resistant, so it is safe to use year round in any weather. It really looks so nice on our home and we would recommend it.
