I was pleasantly surprised by how heavy and tough this solar post light is. It feels very substantial like it’s built like a tank. This is the kind that will last for many years in tough outdoor conditions.
It looks even nicer in person with the way that it diffracts light through the various panes of glass. This results in a nice even glow in the surroundings. I also like the color temperature, somewhat warm and not cool blue like the cheap brands.
This fits perfect on our brick wall. It can be mounted on just about any flat surface.
This is a phenomenal light. I currently have it sitting on a table on my deck, and it‘s amazing! It soaks up the sun all day, and it shines bright all night. I think if I had it on a rotating platform, it would be hard to differentiate it from a lighthouse! Maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but it‘s a pretty bright light, and I love having it on the deck.
We’ve had a ton of rain lately, and despite the cloudy weather, it is still absorbing sufficient light to shine brightly in the dark.
This is a heavy duty unit, for sure. I have every confidence it will last and last and last. We‘ve also decided that keeping it on a table, as it is, rather than permanently affixing it to a post, is a pretty good idea. In the event of any kind of power outage due to storms or heat, we need only pick this up and bring it into the house, and we don‘t have to worry about lights. I can’t imagine how our house would glow on the outside if we were to do that!
The solar panels on top are large, but this is all-in-one, so there’s no separate cords or anything. It genuinely is a set it and forget it light source! It‘s a fantastic investment for reliable outdoor lighting, and an added value that you can pick it up and take it indoors if you need emergency lighting.
Unique looking light. It is solar so you don't have to have your area wired in order to use it. This a very high end feeling light and the quality exceeds others. Installation is easy and they include some monting hardwar or if you judt want to use it on your patio you can and just have it sit there unmounted. Always impressed with the items from this company.
I've been very impressed by the solar lights I've gotten from this company. I have several in different sizes. They are on the expensive side but the design and quality are really nice. This lamp is different than the other lights I've gotten, the others did not have the decorative glass panels. The frosted glass looks really sharp, I like this design a lot and it was a nice change from the more minimalist lamps.
The metal frame is powder coated so it should hold up well in the elements. I like that it is weatherproof and doesn't need to be stored away for the winter. It's very solidly made and heavy for its size. The lamp has a dusk to dawn sensor or you can use the remote control. It has timer settings and brightness controls on the remote.
You can set the lamp on a table or use the included hardware to bolt it onto your deck or porch if you want to do that. I'm glad I got it and will enjoy having it on my porch.

There is a circle shape inside that the light shines through. This shape give the lamp something of a mid-century vibe. This lamp feels heavy duty, with some heft. This lamp comes with mounting screws. The light is a nice bright white withe natural yellow lighting. The lize and power of this lamp are very impressive for solar lighting.
